We are the hurt
The broken
The ignored
and the silent
We are the few who observe
From the corner where we sit
Forgotten by the people
Who’s lives throw them
Into social beings
We remain silent
Hoping one day in selfishness
That someone will break their trance
And speak to the silent who refuse
But observe

Down our walls
That have kept us silent

If an object collides with another (tree hitting ground) the energy released from the accumulated kinetic energy causes shock waves to pass through the air, emitted from the impact = producing sound... whether anyone is there or not 
Unless your question was rhetorical and of course, you already know that lol! Deep meaning though, If you were to die then you must have been alive in order to die in the first place, but I still like your poem however! Keep writing
